A drying and filtering apparatus is used for drying and filtering compressed air. The drying and filtering apparatus (1) comprises a housing (10), an upper cover (20) provided on the roof of the housing (10), a lower cover (30) provided at the bottom of the housing (10), and a cooling tube (40) provided in the housing (10). An air inlet (21) is provided at one side of the upper cover (20), and the other side of the upper cover (20) is provided with an air outlet (22). The lower cover (30) is provided with a drainage exit (31). There is a cavity (11) in the housing (10), the cavity (11) being in communication with the air inlet (21), the air outlet (22), and the drainage exit (31) respectively. The cooling tube (40) is arranged in the cavity (11) and extends from a position near the upper cover (20) downward to the lower cover (30). Compressed air enters the cavity (11) from the air inlet (21) on the upper cover (20), and contacts with the cooling tube (40), so that the temperature of the compressed air decreases, and saturated vapor in the compressed air condenses to liquid water and is drained through the drainage exit (31) by gravity. Dried compressed air outflows from the air outlet (22). |
