Disclosed are a communication processing method and an electronic device. The method comprises: controlling the first electronic device to be in a first communication status in which the first electronic device performs voice data interaction with at least one second electronic device; in response to a first operation, controlling the switching from the first communication status to a second communication status, and in the second communication status, maintaining voice data interaction with the at least one second electronic device, and sharing a video frame with at least one second electronic device; and in response to a second operation, controlling the switching from the second communication status to the first communication status.
