The invention relates to an arrangement for winding a web of material, in particular a web of tire cord fabric, comprising a sleeve-like winding body (1), which can be set into rotation by a shaft coupled thereto, onto which the web of material is wound, and a holding mechanism that is based on a clamping force in order to hold an edge of the web of material to be wound to the winding body at the beginning of the winding process. The winding body (1) is operable for the adjustment of the clamping force caused by means of the shaft coupling. |
