A control method and apparatus for a brushless motor without a position sensor. The method comprises: closing a first drive voltage of a first phase coil, and within a detection time, detecting a counter electromotive force of the first phase coil (S110); according to the counter electromotive force, determining a reference phase and a period of a second drive voltage (S120); according to the reference phase and the period, determining a pulse width modulation signal (S130); and according to the pulse width modulation signal, determining to provide the second drive voltage for a brushless motor, the second drive voltage being used for driving the brushless motor. The method and the apparatus can reduce the cost, reduce the implementation difficulty and improve the performance and reliability of a system. |
