The invention discloses a method of implementing continuous reception in an enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service (eMBMS) and a terminal utilizing the same. The method comprises: adjusting, by a user equipment (UE), according to a user service description (USD) and system information, a frequency reselection priority, and then performing a measurement to obtain a measurement result; when it is determined, according to the measurement result, that a neighboring cell employing a present eMBMS frequency satisfies a reselection condition, determining the neighboring cell employing the present eMBMS frequency to be a target cell; before reselecting the target cell, predetermining, according to a predefined rule, a cell reselection to obtain a determination result, wherein the determination result comprises: when system information corresponding to the target cell comprises associated system information of a present eMBMS service, identifying the target cell as a reselection target cell, and performing a cell reselection process on the reselection target cell using a top priority. |
