Provided is a feature for improving image quality of calculated images and accuracy in parameter estimation even when a method for simultaneously generating calculated images having a plurality of parameters is used. Therefore, a reconstructed image having an optimal resolution for each parameter to be estimated is used, a value of the parameter is estimated, and a calculated image that is a distribution of the value of the parameter is obtained. The reconstructed image having the optimal resolution is obtained by adjusting the resolution of the reconstructed image acquired in the optimal resolution of an estimation parameter of which the optimal resolution was the highest among the parameters to be estimated at time of photographing. Alternatively, only a reconstructed image to be used for calculating a predetermined parameter to be estimated is acquired in the optimal resolution for the parameter to be estimated at the time of photographing.
