Provided is an antibacterial liquid detergent composition for clothes, having a pH of 8.5-10 at 25°C, and comprising the following components (a) to (d): (a) a cationic surfactant, (b) an anionic surfactant, (c) an alkali agent having a pKa of 7.5-11, and (d) water. The content of component (b) is 7.0% or less by mass, the mass ratio (b)/[(a)+(b)] of component (b) to the total of component (a) and component (b) is 0.75 or less, and the content of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfate (b1) in the anionic surfactant is at least 80.0% by mass. This antibacterial liquid detergent composition for clothes does not require a special separate antibacterial substance, has an excellent antibacterial effect even if the cationic surfactant content is low, and enables favorable fluidity and foaming properties to be obtained. |
