A microwave oven having a food item projection function and a control method therefor. The microwave oven having the food item projection function comprises a microwave oven body (100). The microwave oven body (100) comprises an oven body (110) and a door body (120) rotatably connected to the oven body (110). A microwave generating component (3) is provided within the microwave oven body (100). A camera (200) and a lighting lamp (210) are provided on the inner wall of the microwave oven body (100). A transparent thermally-insulating glass shield is provided on the outside of the camera device (200). The camera device (200) is connected to a projection device (51) provided on top of the oven body (110). A screen (63) is fixedly provided on top of the oven body (110). The control method is for use in controlling the microwave oven having the food item projection function. In the microwave oven having the food item projection function and the control method therefor, the camera device (200) is capable of capturing a real-time video of a food item in the microwave oven and project the video in real-time via the projection device (51) to the screen (63) fixedly provided on top of the oven body (110), thus facilitating use for the user. |
