Disclosed are an electronic cigarette and a control method thereof. The electronic cigarette comprises an atomization component, a battery component (505), and a suction nozzle component (400). An electric heating wire (302), a fan component (500) and a step-down circuit module (503) are arranged in the atomization component. The step-down circuit module (503) is used to decrease the voltage output by the battery component (505) to a preset range and output the voltage within the preset range to the fan component (500), so that the fan component (500) can blow smoke atomized by the electric heating wire (302) to the suction nozzle component (400). The beneficial effects are as follows: the step-down circuit module (503) can output a stable voltage to the fan component (500) in order to effectively guarantee the stable operation of the fan component (500), thus making it convenient to use for users and improving the comfort of users during smoking; and the smoke concentration and temperature can be individually regulated, so as to effectively avoid the occurrence of the atomization component being burnt, effectively guarantee the service life of the atomization component, and prevent the user from being scalded due to the temperature accumulation. |
