The present invention relates to a display device comprising: a signal reception unit for receiving an image signal; a display unit including a plurality of modules, each of which include a plurality of light sources, and displaying an image on the basis of the received image signal; at least one storage unit for storing a first coefficient for calibrating first uniformity among the plurality of light sources within each of the plurality of modules and a second coefficient for calibrating second uniformity among the plurality of modules; and a control unit for calibrating the first uniformity among the plurality of light sources on the basis of the first coefficient, and calibrating the second uniformity among the plurality of modules on the basis of the second coefficient. Therefore, provided are the display device and a control method, which are capable of reducing the time and costs required to calibrate the uniformity of the display device, and capable of performing more accurate calibration.
