The present specification relates to a composition for increasing intestinal lactic acid bacteria which comprises, as an active ingredient, a compound of chemical formula 1, a derivative thereof or a pharmacologically or sitologically acceptable salt thereof, and can induce the growth of intestinal lactic acid bacteria, and ameliorate diarrhea, enteritis, gastrointestinal disorders and the like by suppressing the growth of harmful intestinal bacteria.
