摘要 A liquid crystal display and a control method therefor. The liquid crystal display comprises: a plurality of data lines (S1-Sm), a plurality of scan lines (G1-Gn), a plurality of pixel units (10) and a plurality of switch elements (11), wherein first ends of various switch elements (11) are connected together to receive a control signal, second ends thereof are connected together to receive a reference voltage signal, and third ends thereof are connected to data lines (S1-Sm) corresponding thereto; when the control signal is a first control signal, the switch elements (11) are cut off, so that a grey-scale voltage signal is applied to the pixel units (10) via the data lines (S1-Sm), and the liquid crystal display displays a normal image frame; and when the control signal is a second control signal, the switch elements (11) are conducted, so that the reference voltage signal is applied to the pixel units (10) via the data lines (S1-Sm), and the liquid crystal display displays a black-insertion frame. By means of the above-mentioned method, a black-insertion frame can be realized in a relatively simple energy-saving manner, so that the crosstalk problem in 3D display or the problem of serious streaking caused due to a low refresh rate in a liquid crystal display is solved.
