The purpose of the present invention is to enable a post-processing rod-shaped body to be favorably discharged, while suppressing a rise in costs. The present invention includes the following: a pre-processing movement step for causing a pre-processing rod-shaped body W (A) to be positioned at a receiving position of a processing device 12; a post-processing movement step in which a post-processing rod-shaped body W (B) is pushed by the pre-processing rod-shaped body W (A) due to the pre-processing movement step for the pre-processing rod-shaped body W (A), and as a result thereof, the post-processing rod-shaped body W (B) is caused to move to a rail part 13; a rail part movement step in which the post-processing rod-shaped body W (B) is pushed by the pre-processing rod-shaped body W (A) due to the pre-processing movement step for the pre-processing rod-shaped body W (A), and as a result thereof, the post-processing rod-shaped body W (B) is caused to move, guided by the rail part 13; an extraction step for extracting the post-processing rod-shaped body W (B) from the rail part 13 using an extraction device 14; a detection step for detecting that the post-processing rod-shaped body W (B) was moved from the rail part 13 to the extraction device 14; and a discharge step for discharging the post-processing rod-shaped body W (B), which was detected in the detection step, from the extraction device 14 in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the post-processing rod-shaped body W (B). |
