A submersible pump (100) is provided including a pump housing (102), a motor (120) disposed within the pump housing (102), a pump discharge (124), a pump base (104) to support the submersible pump (100), an impeller (122) disposed in an impeller cavity (126) between the pump housing and the pump base configured to receive rotational force from the motor and convey a fluid from the pump base to the pump discharge, and one or more release connectors (106) releasably connecting the pump base (104) to the pump housing (102). Thus, an easy exchange of the pump base (104) is possible, allowing a rapid adaption of the suction height of the submersible pump (100), e.g. by interchanging a first pump base (104A) and a second pump base (104B). Thus, the submersible pump (100) may be adapted easily to different purposes of use. |
