An imaging device and method for stalling operation of imaging device is provided. The imaging device (100) includes an input roller assembly (102) to transport a medium in the imaging device (100) and a line feed roller assembly (104) disengagably coupled to the input roller assembly (102) to selectively drive the input roller assembly (102). To stall the operation of the imaging device (100), a line feed shaft (106) of the line feed roller assembly (104) can be automatically disengaged from the input roller assembly (102) to discontinue advancement of the medium along a print path.
