A secondary battery charging method in which: constant-current charging is performed until a first prescribed voltage V0 is attained, after which constant-voltage charging is performed at the first prescribed voltage V0 and the first constant-voltage charging is ended when the charging current changes from In to (In − ΔIn), and then n is increased by 1; a process is repeatedly performed, with n being increased by 1, wherein constant-voltage charging is performed at a voltage Vn = Vn-1 + ΔVn, and the nth constant-voltage charging is ended when the charging current changes from In to (In − ΔIn); and the Nth constant-voltage charging in which the value of the voltage Vn reaches a second prescribed voltage VN (> V0) is ended, thus ending the constant-voltage charging. |
