A selecting unit (3), which is disposed partway down a transport route (2), is provided with a wiper (4) that projects up from one side of the transport route (2) and that removes an unfavorably oriented part (P) with one end protruding to one side of the transport route (2). By blowing compressed air in the wiper (4) at an angle from one side to the other side of the transport route (2) and from the upstream side to the downstream side of the transport route (2), the unfavorably oriented part (P) with one end protruding to the other side of the transport route (2) accelerates due to the compressed air when entering the wiper (4), rotates while being transported separated from subsequent parts (P), and is reliably removed from the transport route (2) at a downstream section of the wiper (4). |
