In order to efficiently control cells using an unallocated frequency band or a shared frequency band, a terminal device is provided with: a transmission unit for transmitting a PUSCH; and a CCA check unit for performing LBT before a subframe to which the transmission of the PUSCH is designated. The terminal device determines the LBT start time from the PUSCH transmission start time, the CCA slot length, and the number of CCA checks. The terminal device is provided with a reception unit for receiving a PDCCH. The number of CCA checks is designated by the PDCCH.
