PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate working device in which the lowering time of a head, after arriving at a target position, can be shortened furthermore.SOLUTION: A component mounting device (substrate working device) includes a mounting head 21 which performs a work for a substrate 1, and a control unit 60 for controlling the movement of the mounting head 21. When moving the mounting head 21 to a target position on the substrate 1, the control unit 60 lowers the mounting head 21 while tilting forward in the direction of the substrate 1, after the mounting head 21 has passed by a component 2 of maximum height, mounted on the substrate 1 on the movement route to the target position, before arriving at the target position. |
