PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air floating type belt conveyor in which a side surface part of a casing close to a conveyor belt side edge part is not broken by vibration of the conveyor belt side edge part.SOLUTION: An air floating type belt conveyor including a cylindrical casing 11 with a built-in conveyor belt 12, for floating and traveling the conveyor belt 12 by the air supplied from a bottom part of the cylindrical casing into the cylindrical casing 11, has a slit 13 extending along the side edge part on the side surface part of the cylindrical casing 11 close to the side edge part of the conveyor belt 12, and a recessed part 16 opened to the slit 13 side and recessed outward is formed on the inner surface side of a cover member 14 for covering the slit 13. |
