The purpose of the present invention is to provide a camera module such that the size can be reduced and such that the camera can be stably oriented in any direction. Specifically, when a driver device (20) rotates a motor (30) in a camera module (1), the rotation of the motor (30) is transmitted to a movable body (90) via a gear mechanism (40) so that the movable body (90) holding a camera (10) rotates around a rotational center axial line (Lc) intersecting with the imaging direction of the camera (10) to thereby switch the imaging direction. Here, since the driver device (20) employs the gear mechanism (40), the size of the module can be reduced compared to the case of employing a belt mechanism even when increasing the resolution by increasing reduction ratio. Further, an energization member (70) for pressing the movable body (90) against a fixing body (80) is provided, and therefore the imaging direction does not shift even when there is backlash in the gear mechanism (40). |
