A method and system for providing a personalised video game comprises selecting 102 a first video game template from a plurality of templates. Each template defines a plurality of customizable elements and customizable data is created based on at least one of the elements. The customizable data is integrated into the first video game template 108. A completed video game is then formed and distributed 110. Each customizable element may comprise at least one action performed by a video game character and the customizable data may comprise recording a person performing that action 104. The actions recorded may be for example walking, running, jumping or turning. The recorded data may be processed 106 before being incorporated into the video game 108. By recording the actions of a user, the system is able to produce a game in which the users image is incorporated such that it appears he or she is the main character. |
