PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of displaying a handwritten character at a display size which is easily viewable.SOLUTION: A display device (1) includes: a display unit (11), a detection unit (12), a handwritten character display control unit (131) for controlling the display unit (11) on the basis of a signal which is input from the detection unit (12) so as to display a handwritten character; a display size calculation unit (132) for calculating a display size of the handwritten character; a threshold value setting unit (133) for setting a threshold value; a display size comparison unit (134) for comparing a display size calculated by the display size calculation unit (132) with a display size shown by the threshold value; and a display change unit (135) for, when the display size calculated by the display size calculation unit (132) is smaller than the display size shown by the threshold value, outputting an instruction for enlarging the display size of the handwritten character to the handwritten character display control unit (131) so as to enlarge the display size of the handwritten character. |
