[Class 20 (iii)] A weather-sealing strip 4 for the space between the fixed and movable panels 1, 2, respectively, of a half-drop light or other window is adapted to be readily inserted in a channel-piece 3 provided with a gap 8 intermediate to the ends. The strip may be mounted on the upper edge of the fixed panel or on the lower edge of the sliding panel, and the gap may be covered by a closure piece 9. When applied to the lower edge of the upper panel, the sealing strip may have a buffer strip integral therewith.
