PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, for example, an optical power monitoring circuit that has a simplified circuit configuration and allows outputting a signal indicating optical power with a high degree of accuracy.SOLUTION: A PD 110 is connected to an input part 1121 of a current mirror circuit 112, and a switch 114 and a load resistor 115 are connected in parallel to the PD 110. A packet detection circuit 113 sets a LOS signal to be outputted to the switch 114 to be Low when detecting a packet signal from an output current of the PD 110, which turns off the switch 114. The packet detection circuit 113 sets the LOS signal to be outputted to the switch 114 to be High when not detecting input of the packet signal, which turns on the switch 114. A monitor signal generating section 142 of a signal processing unit 14 measures a monitor voltage of an output part 1122 of the current mirror circuit 112 using an RSSI trigger signal as a trigger, and generates a monitor signal. |
