PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 2 in which reduction of rolling resistance is achieved without impairing driving stability and abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: The profile OL of the tire 2 includes a ground plane 44 and a pair of side faces 46. In the profile OL, the zone from the boundary (Point PB) between the ground plane 44 and the side face 46 to the point (Point PW) on the side face 46 showing the widest width consists of three circular arcs. These three arcs comprise a first circular arc, a second circular arc extending from the first circular arc to almost outside in the radius direction, and a third circular arc extending from the second circular arc to almost outside in the radius direction. The ratio of a curvature radius R2 of the second circular arc to a curvature radius R1 of the first circular arc is 1.45 or more and 3.26 or less. The ratio of a curvature radius R3 of the third circular arc to the curvature radius R1 of the first circular arc is 0.45 or more and 0.56 or less. |
