PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively provide a plurality of SPDs with power and a test signal for leakage current detection without restriction on the arrangement of constituent members.SOLUTION: In a connection device for a surge protection device comprising a base section and an SPD plug containing a leakage current detection circuit for a surge protection element, and comprising a plurality of SPD blocks including the base section and the SPD plug, an SPD block 1 comprises a socket B connected with the leakage current detection circuit when the socket B is attached to a base section A and an SPD plug E is attached to the base section A, and the sockets B in the adjacent SPD blocks 1 are connected by a connection unit C. The connection device comprises a monitoring/alarm/power supply unit plug 2 including a DC power supply for supplying power to the leakage current detection circuit, a relay which is turned on to perform alarm operation at the time of leakage current detection, and an operation check circuit for injecting a test signal to the leakage current detection circuit. |
