A fluid machine equipped with a curved suction passage for introducing a gas into a casing (3), and a rotor for compressing or expanding the gas that has been introduced accommodated in a rotor chamber (4) formed within the casing. Furthermore, a dividing wall (14) that divides the suction passage into multiple passages (7a, 7b, 8a, 8b) is provided. Preferably the rotor is a screw rotor (2) comprising a male rotor (2A) and a female rotor (2B) that mesh with each other, and the dividing wall is provided along a direction (the Y-axis) perpendicular to the line (the X-axis) connecting the axial centers of rotation of the male rotor and the female rotor. Thus, it is possible to obtain a fluid machine with which pressure loss in the suction passage can be reduced without an increase in size. |
