Provided is a novel method for treating an oil/gas field-associated liquid, whereby an iron component and an oil component can be surely separated and removed from the oil/gas field-associated liquid, the composition of said oil/gas field-associated liquid varying from case to case. The method for treating an oil/gas field-associated liquid, said method comprising: an oxidation step for pouring an oxidizing agent into the oil/gas field-associated liquid and thus oxidizing iron dissolved in the liquid to be treated; a flocculation step for adding a flocculant to the liquid to be treated and thus flocculating an oil component together with iron oxide; and a solid-liquid separation step for separating and removing the flocculated matter formed in the aforesaid step. In the oxidation step of said method, the concentration of the oxidizing agent in the liquid to be treated is measured and the oxidizing agent is poured in a controlled amount. |
