PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing an electrode, enabling deviation of electrodes when being laminated to be suppressed.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrode is provided in which a suction pad 13 conveys an electrode P onto a stage 12, air is supplied to the electrode P when the suction pad 13 releases the electrode P, so that the electrode P is abuts on a positioning part 14 to be thereby positioned. Unlike a method of superposing and pressurizing the electrodes P, which causes laminated electrodes P to deviate by repulsion generated when the electrodes are pressurized, the method can suppress the deviation of the electrode P when being laminated. The method is also suitably applied to the cases in which the electrode P is curved or has a smooth surface. Further, the method for manufacturing the electrode requires no gauging of the electrode P before being laminated, thereby reducing man-hours and also avoiding damage to an electrode edge in the gauging process. |
