PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subscriber line testing method capable of performing a rapid subscriber line test regardless of whether a subscriber being a test object subscribes a signal disconnection monitor service or not.SOLUTION: A subscriber line testing method includes: a test object subscriber address take-in step for taking in a test object subscriber address in accordance with a test mode command; a subscriber line drawing step for drawing at least one subscriber line of the test object subscriber addresses; a pulse supply start step for starting the intermittent supply of a terminal drive pulse to the drawn subscriber line; a test performance step for measuring the electric characteristics of the drawn subscriber line when the terminal drive pulse is not present; and a pulse supply stop step for stopping the supply of the terminal drive pulse to the drawn subscriber line after the test performance step. |
