PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which residual detergent and stains in laundry can be prevented because the effect of powder detergent can be improved by dissolving the detergent in washing water at an early stage and supplying the resulting washing liquid to a washing tub without largely changing a structure and significantly increasing cost.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises: a water intake 5 connected to a lower part of an outer tub 2 for allowing washing liquid to enter; a discharge port provided on a front end wall of the outer tub and opening toward the washing tub; a circulation path 12 for communicating the water intake 5 and the discharge port 11 with each other; and a circulation pump 13 of a constant speed provided in the circulation path 12 for discharging the washing liquid to the outer tub 2 and the washing tub 3 through the circulation path 12. The circulation pump 13 is driven for a prescribed period of time required for the washing liquid discharged to the outer tub 2 during water supply not to enter the washing tub 3. |
