PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure printing machine capable of preventing the occurrence of damaged paper due to estimation failure in the paper splicing.SOLUTION: A gravure printing machine has a plurality of printing units, and applies and prints a desired shape of coating to a base material supplied from at least either one base material roll of two base material rolls. The gravure printing machine includes: register mark detection means for detecting a register mark printed on the base material in the printing units by a sensor; register control means for correcting misregistration by performing at least either one of adjusting a path length of the base material or adjusting a phase difference between the plurality of printing units, on the basis of the position of the register mark detected by the register mark detection means; and paster notification means for notifying the register control means of paster occurrence information when switching the supply of the base material from the either one of the base material rolls to the other base material roll (hereinafter called as a paster). |
