PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether acetate, which can prevent the deterioration of odor of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether acetate that is preserved while being allowed to remain in a reaction tank and can produce the polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether acetate almost free of odor.SOLUTION: A preserving method of an aqueous solution of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether acetate (A) containing a noble metal catalyst (B) comprises preserving the aqueous solution by setting the concentration of the (A) in the aqueous solution to be 5 mass% or more and 15 mass% or less and keeping the temperature within the range of 20°C or more and less than 40°C. The method for producing the polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether acetate (A) includes the preserving method. |
