This mounting frame (1) comprises a pair of first beams (11) and a pair of second beams (12) that form a frame. The first beams (11) face each other with a window hole (18) in which a switch unit (100) is mounted interposed therebetween, and are affixed to a building material such that the rear surfaces contact the rim of a hole provided in said building material. The second beams (12) face each other with the window hole (18) interposed therebetween in a direction intersecting the direction in which the first beams (11) face each other. The second beams (12) are provided with through-holes (15a, 15b) into which mounting prongs (103) on switch units (100) are inserted. The first beams (11) and the second beams (12) are designed such that, when mounted to the building material, the front surfaces of the second beams (12) in the areas where the through-holes (15) are provided are positioned rearwards of the front surfaces of the first beams (11) in areas on the side corresponding to the surface of the building material. |
