PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cassette and an image forming device of the structure, which can be smoothly set without folding a sheet even in the case where the sheet is to be set without extracting the sheet cassette entirety.SOLUTION: A sheet cassette 8 comprises: a cassette body 20 capable of receiving sheets; an intermediate plate 23 for loading the sheets in the cassette body; and side regulation members 24 and 25 moved and positioned along notches 23A and 23B of the intermediate plate for regulating the side end part of the sheets on the intermediate plate 23. The sheet cassette further comprises auxiliary loading faces 40E and 41E capable of burying the clearance between the side regulating member and the notches so that the sheets inserted along the side regulation members into the cassette body may not be caught by the notches. |
