Provided is a glass particle from which a soft magnetic composite material having small eddy current loss and high strength can be produced. A glass particle for a soft magnetic composite material comprises, for example, a crystallized glass that contains, in mass%, SiO2 and B2O3 in the total amount of 10% or more, B2O3 in an amount of 25% or less and ZnO in an amount of 40 to 65% in terms of oxide contents, and has an average particle diameter of 1 to 500 nm. |
