The invention relates to a device for cleaning a medical vacuum pump (9), wherein the medical vacuum pump has a suction connection (90) and an exhaust-air opening (91), which are connected to each other in a fluid-tight manner. The device has a rinsing-agent supply line (60), which can be connected to at least one rinsing-agent container (3, 4) and which has a first connection (60') for connecting to the suction connection (90), and a suction line (80, 81), which has a second connection (80') for connecting to the exhaust-air opening (91) and a vacuum connection (81', 86') for connecting to a suction source (8, 85). A rinsing agent can be sucked from the rinsing-agent container (3, 4) through the supply line (60) and through the first connection (60') into the medical vacuum pump (9) and from there through the second connection (80') and through the suction line (80, 81) into a drain (82). Said device enables simple and quick cleaning of a vacuum path of medical vacuum pumps (9). |
