An apparatus comprises a flexible sheet of plastic 1 supported by two wires 3, 4 which are attached to a base and threaded through the sheet. One wire is connected to a power supply 8, the other is connected to a current sensing device 9, which is in turn connected to a device such as a lamp 10. The wires meet at a contact point 7. The user blows on or touches the flexible sheet, the wires are separated and the circuit is broken. When the sensing device detects there is no current the lamp is switched on. |
