PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens with good portability due to a wide field angle at a wide angle end and miniaturization, while securing high variable power ratio, and to provide an imaging device with the zoom lens.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, in order from an object side to an image side: a first lens group G1 with positive refractive power; a second lens group G2 with negative refractive power; a third lens group G3 with positive refractive power; and a fourth lens group G4 with positive refractive power. In variable power from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, a distance between the first lens group G1 and the second lens group G2 is increased, a distance between the second lens group G2 and the third lens group G3 is decreased, a distance between the third lens group G3 and the fourth lens group G4 is varied, and a predetermined conditional expression is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
