The invention relates to a coloring composition, a color filter and a display device. The invention provides a coloring composition which can form a coloring layer with good solvent resistance when a dye or a mordant pigment is used as a colorant. The coloring composition is characterized by comprising the following components of (A), (B), (C), and (D), wherein (A) is at least one colorant selected from dyes or mordant pigments, (B) is a binder resin, (C) is a compound with more than two olefinic-bond unsaturated groups, and (D) is a photopolymerization initiator as shown in the following formula (I). In the formula (I), R1 and R4 independently represent C1-C12 alkyls, alicyclic hydrocarbyls or phenyls with a carbon atom number of 4-20, and the like; R2 represents a dialkyl with a carbon atom number of 1-20; R3 represents a naphthenic group, a phenyl or a naphthyl with a carbon atom number of 4-20; R5 represents a phenyl, a tolyl, a xylyl, a naphthyl, an anthryl, a phenanthryl, a 9-fluorenyl, a 2-furyl or 2-thienyl, and the like. |
