PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a portable device to display an image of a periphery of a vehicle which is seen from a viewpoint of the user of the vehicle.SOLUTION: An image processing system 10 has a function in which an image processing apparatus 2 generates an image of the periphery of a vehicle 1 and a function in which the generated peripheral image is transmitted to a portable device 3. At this time, the portable device 3 transmits the direction and position of the portable device 3 in the vehicle 1 to the image processing apparatus 2, and the image processing apparatus 2 generates the image of the periphery of the vehicle 1 which is seen from a virtual viewpoint in accordance with the direction and position of the portable device 3. Therefore, the user who has the portable device 3 can refer to a desired peripheral image on a display 32 from the inside of the vehicle 1 by changing the direction and position of the portable device 3 in the vehicle. |
