PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy removal of a bundle of sheets mounted on a paper cradle out of the device.SOLUTION: A paper discharge device 1 comprises ascendable and descendable paper cradle elevating and lowering means 20 of lowering a paper cradle 21 in association with discharge of a sheet P, a pair of side fence plates 31 and 32 suspended by supporting members arranged above the paper cradle and regulating both end parts in the width direction of a sheet to be mounted on the paper cradle, an end fence plate 62 suspended by the supporting members and regulating the front end in the discharging direction of the sheet to be mounted on the paper cradle and an extension fence member 33 which is supported in a freely rotatable way in a lower part of the fence plate 31, among the pair of side fence plates and the end fence plate, arranged on the side of the sheet take-out direction, regulates the end of the sheet to be mounted on the paper cradle when is hung down in the direction of gravity and rotates toward the sheet take-out direction when a bundle of sheets mounted on the paper cradle is taken out. |
