PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article inspection device enabling a user to understand information regarding a management loss or an environmental load caused by production of an inspected article determined as a defect.SOLUTION: An article inspection device 1 includes a display operation unit 4 for setting a production index including the scheduled number of produced articles when inspected articles W are produced at a production facility 100 on the basis of a production plan and production cost imagined from the scheduled number of produced articles, and a control unit 8 for calculating a loss index indicating a loss caused by the production of the inspected article W determined to be defective by a determination unit 5 on the basis of the production index set by the display operation unit 4. The display operation unit 4 displays the production index and the loss index in comparison. |
