PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture measuring device for laver which can measure an average water content of a plurality of sheets of dried laver produced by a laver production machine.SOLUTION: A moisture measuring device (1) for laver for measuring a water content of sheet-like dried laver (20) produced by drying a laver material molded into a sheet by using a laver producing machine (2) is configured so that a plurality of sheets of dried laver (20) are transferred by a pair of top and bottom transfer rollers (18, 19), a voltage is applied on electrode layers (25, 26) formed on surfaces of the transfer rollers (18. 19), and an average water content of the plurality of sheets of dried laver (20) is measured based on a current carrying quantity which flows between the top and bottom electrode layers (25, 26). Further, the moisture measuring device is configured so that a voltage is applied on the electrode layers (25, 26) formed on the surfaces of the transfer rollers (18, 19) only when the dried laver (20) is being transferred by the transfer rollers (18, 19).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
