PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a work machine, which is highly convenient while surely preventing collision accident of an operator with a work machine.SOLUTION: A safety device of a work machine for detecting access of an operator to the work machine includes at least: infrared transmission means, radio wave receiving means, and control means attached to the work machine; and infrared receiving means and radio wave transmission means attached to the operator. While the infrared receiving means receives an infrared signal transmitted from the infrared transmission means, the radio wave transmission means transmits a radio wave signal. While the radio wave receiving means receives the radio wave signal, the control means stops forcibly driving of the work machine. The control means restores the driving of the work machine at the lapse of a predetermined period from non-reception of the radio wave signal by the radio wave receiving means. |
