1. A computer implemented method comprising:
connecting to a collaboration session, hosted by a collaboration server, over a network; evaluating peer-to-peer connectivity factors regarding a connection to the collaboration server; generating factor data using the peer-to-peer connectivity factors; upon a determination that a peer-to-peer connection with at least one collaboration session participant is to be established based on the factor data, establishing a peer-to-peer connection with the at least one collaboration session participant; and participating in the collaboration session with at least a portion of collaboration session data to be exchanged with the at least one collaboration session participant over the peer-to-peer connection while at least one other portion of collaboration session data is exchanged concurrently via the collaboration server. |
