[Class 12 (i)] The periphery of a dust cover plate 5 is wedged between the relatively inclined sides 7, 8 of an annular groove in a bearing element 1 whereby the plate does not contact with the bottom of the groove and distortion of the outer surface of the element during assembling is avoided. Grease in the chamber between the plates 33 is forced by centrifugal action through holes 36 to lubricate the bearing and is discharged into chambers bounded by the end plates 25 where it builds up a pressure and assists in forcing the grease in the inner chamber outwardly. |
