1. A method implemented by a network entity (NE) for handling cell reselections, the method comprising:
generating, by the NE, a message that includes high speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) common system information in System Information Block (SIB) 5 or SIB 5 bis; broadcasting, by the NE to a Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU), the message such that a medium access control (MAC) reset is performed by a WTRU on condition that the broadcasted message is received by the WTRU and a variable HS_DSCH_RECEPTION_OF_CCCH_ENABLED is set to TRUE. |
