The present invention relates to a method for reporting a channel quality indicator for a relay node-dedicated physical downlink shared channel (R-PDSCH) from a base station by a relay node in a wireless communication system. More particularly, the method comprises the following steps: receiving one or more reference signals from the base station; calculating a channel quality indicator for the R-PDSCH on the basis of one or more reference signals; and reporting the channel quality indicator to the base station.

1. A method for reporting a channel quality indicator at a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method performed by the UE and comprising:
receiving, from a base station, common reference signals (CRSs) via a first set of resource elements (REs) through a non-MBSFN (Multicast Broadcast Single Frequency Network) subframe, wherein the first set of REs are located on at least one symbol of a first slot of the non-MBSFN subframe and at least one symbol of a second slot of the non-MBSFN subframe; receiving, from the base station, CRSs via a second set of REs through a MBSFN subframe, wherein the second set of REs are located only on a first slot of the MBSFN subframe; obtaining a channel quality indicator (CQI) using a specific set of REs which are different from the second set of REs, for the MBSFN subframe for a specific transmission mode; and reporting the CQI for the MBSFN subframe, for the specific transmission mode to the base station, wherein, for the specific transmission mode, both the MBSFN subframe and the non-MBSFN subframe are valid subframes to obtain the CQI, and wherein, for the specific transmission mode, the UE obtains the CQI under an assumption that the specific set of REs are in the MBSFN subframe as the first set of REs are in the non-MBSFN subframe.
